Camel Ride Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some answers to question we often receive about our camel rides. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us directly.
Is there a weight restriction?
Our maximum per person weight is 120kg. We do ask if anyone is over 90kg so we can distribute the rider weight evenly across the camels.
What clothing should I wear?
No special clothing is required. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes for your ride. In winter be sure to bring a jacket. We provide helmets for all riders.
Is there anything else I should bring for my camel ride?
We recommend sunscreen, bottle of water (we provide bottle holders), insect replellant and sunglasses. Don’t forget a jacket for winter, or sunset rides when it can get cooler.
Can I take photographs?
Yes you can use your phone or camera during the camel ride. Staff are happy to use your camera to take photos of you during the ride.
What time does the sunset tour begin?
Sunset departure time varies according to season. We will advise you what time to arrive when we confirm your booking.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards with online bookings, and cash or bank transfers at the time of departure.
